Working together for a better food system.
An ideal food system, according to us, should involve both the producer and the consumer in a direct relationship; a relationship where dialog and trust are paramount.
In our opinion these two elements go hand in hand and help to strengthen local economies.
When consumers have access to local food sources and can communicate directly with the people producing their food, trust is
built. This
trust is then converted into direct sales, which allows the producers to maximize profit and continue the yearly cycle of producing healthy, nutritious food for their local communities.
It is with this in mind that we like to consider Klippingegård as Stevns local kitchen garden –– a place where people can come and chat, ask questions and feel secure in the knowledge that they are making the best possible choice for themselves and their family in terms of food.
